Merlot
The Merlot grape is a close cousin to Cabernet Sauvignon in many respects, Merlot is able to mature in regions that are cooler than those required for Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot usually has ripe berry components in the bouquet. It tends to be soft, fruity, and smooth in texture.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of dark cherry are encased in lovely smoky oak. Sweet cherry bursts at mid palate with genuine tannin that lingers on to a soft oak finish.Winemaker Notes
