Tasting Notes
This bright and crisp rosé exhibits aromas of fresh raspberries followed by flavors of Queen Anne cherries with hints of rhubarb. Dry and balanced with a bright acidity.Vineyard Notes
Grown on one of the best sites on our farm, our Pinot Noir planting is situated on Howard Gravel and Odessa Clay soils. The vineyard is split just about in half by the two soil series giving this field a complexity not found in other sites around the Finger Lakes. The light sandy Howard series gives a light fruity nose, while the heavy and relatively shallow clay of the Odessa series impart a steely, and mineral finish.Production Notes
Rosé incorporates some of the color from the grape skins but not to qualify it as a red. Treated as a white, this wine exhibits exceptional fruit and aroma.Pairings
Aged cheeses, charcuterie, pasta, salads, and barbecue chicken.Other Notes
